Did you know that On April 11, 2019, the Food & Drug Adminstration (FDA) issued their final rule and effectiveness 0f consumer hand sanitizers.
At this time, the only approved active ingredients in a hand sanitizer are ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol and benzalkonium chloride (BZK).
The main difference between the two technologies is that once the alcohol evaporates off the hands it is ‘No longer killing any Germs”.
Our Hand Sanitizers are formulated with Benzalkonium Chloride which kills Persistently and Remoisturizes your hands.
The I.C. Foaming Hand Sanitizer from R&R Lotion has a distinct advantage over gelled alcohol hand sanitizers. While both product forms are fast acting and allow for use without water and towels, our product gives the added benefits of being Non-Flammable, less drying to skin and will not stain clothing.
Alcohol Hand Sanitizers can actually become less effective with repeated use and make the skin dirtier, not cleaner due to removal of protective natural skin oil and entrapment of dead skin cells by the polymer thickeners used in gelled alcohol products. -AORN Journal, (68 August 1998), p. 239-251
The overall advantages of our Non-alcohol Hand Sanitizers are simply the following:
-
Non flammability, No hazmat paperwork and No problems for storage
- MADE IN IUSA
-
Formulated as a Remoisturizing Hand Cream

-
